CYA Coastal Navigation
After successful completion of the Coastal Navigation course, you will understand the theory required to safely navigate a sailing cruiser in inland or coastal water. The practical application of the theory takes place in the CYA Advanced Cruising afloat course.

The price of the course includes a nautical chart, Canadian Aids to Navigation, Chart 1 (chart symbols), CYA Coastal Navigation manual, Portland plotter, 0.9 mechanical pencil, eraser and a pair of dividers.
The CYA Coastal Navigation standard is assessed by a 3 hour exam. The pass mark is 75%.
