The Coastal Skipper course is designed for Day Skippers or for sailors with the equivalent experience. Expand your Gulf Islands experience by navigating some of the stronger current passes and do some night sailing. We review the basics and cover more advanced levels of

• anchoring,
• sail trim,
• cruising spinnakers,
• heavy weather techniques,
• boat systems,
• health and safety,
• cruise planning,
• coastal navigation, and
• night passages.

The on-the-water practical is 5 days in length.
