CYA Basic Cruising
The CYA Basic Cruising standard will permit you to be able to cruise safely in familiar waters as both skipper and crew of a sloop rigged keelboat of 6 to 10 meters in moderate wind and sea conditions by day. The afloat skills portion may be taken at our base in Penticton or as part of a cruise and learn in the Gulf Islands.
